My Vacation

My Vacation:

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, I went with my dad to collect my third-semester report card, and I was pleased with the results. After that, we headed straight to Cianjur for a vacation. Upon arrival, I met my older brother who had arrived earlier, and we had lunch together. Later, I played Stardew Valley on my tablet, and before we knew it, it was evening. My family and I went out for dinner at a cozy cafe with live music, not too crowded, and surprisingly, the food was delicious. We then returned home and went to sleep.

The next day, we set off for Sukabumi because the family had rented a villa there. Time flew, and it was already afternoon. We stopped at a local eatery where I ordered chicken soup without onions since I don't like them. After lunch, we continued our journey and soon reached the villa. My dad's side of the family was already there, enjoying a swim. Without hesitation, I changed into my swimwear and joined them, playing water ball games. We divided into two teams, each trying to score points by getting the ball into the goal guarded by a goalkeeper. We decided the first team to reach 10 points would be the winner, and my team emerged victorious. After swimming, I quickly showered and went to a nearby cafe for dinner. The night arrived unnoticed, and our family cooked together, sang, and took pictures before heading back.

I went back to Cianjur while my brother had already returned to Bandung. The next day, I also returned, traveling with my aunt to Bandung. Thus, the vacation with my dad came to an end. I continued my holiday with Bunda and my friends in Bandung. On December 29, 2023, I played with my elementary school friends, enjoyed a game of billiards, and had lunch together. However, the day felt short due to unfavorable weather, so we had to head home. On December 31, my siblings and cousins decided to play billiards together. We played for about 3 hours, and unexpectedly, our aunt and uncle joined to watch and play billiards with us. I was extremely happy; it was a memorable moment.

After the billiards session, we returned home, and since it was New Year's Eve, my family prepared steaks to grill later in the evening. We had dinner together, chatted, laughed, and when the clock struck 12:00, we welcomed the New Year with cheers and fireworks. Unknowingly, we continued chatting until 1:30 AM, and feeling sleepy, I decided to call it a night. Days passed, and on January 1, I resumed studying chemistry. Then, on January 2, I accompanied Bunda to Jakarta. We arrived at 5:30 AM, and by 8:00 AM, Bunda went to work while I stayed at her place. I decided to continue studying chemistry as I had some free time, and later, I watched Netflix. Before I knew it, Bunda had returned, and we had our usual chat.

The next day, Bunda went to work, and I stayed at her place, continuing the Netflix series and taking a short break to study chemistry. The following day, she took me around Jakarta, and I discovered her place was near Istiqlal Mosque, the Cathedral, Monas, and Bundaran HI. I was excited as we went shopping for clothes and school supplies and stopped for a bowl of meatball soup. The next day, we returned to Bandung. I was extremely happy to have quality time with Bunda and my family during the vacation. That's my vacation, split into two parts: one with Bunda and one with my dad.

He has been practicing karate for a long time, and during these years, he has shown that he's really skilled by winning many competitions. People like him a lot because he always works really hard, is very accurate in his moves, and his way of doing karate is very exciting.

Raphael Aghayev believes that it's important to have confidence in yourself, work really hard, and never give up. He thinks these things are very important for being successful, not only in karate but also in life in general. This shows that he's someone who doesn't give up easily and keeps trying to achieve his goals.
